8 days in the desert with some of the brightest humans on this earth.
@da_logster and @proffventure gave their all to gather the equipment and team to rig a new world record, a 4 kilometer long highline among the cliffs of Utah.
We had a dream team of ~18 people throughout the week preparing webbing, building anchors, tagging the gap, and bringing the stoke.
To say this was a once in a lifetime experience would be selling it short. Although it didn’t get sent, this line will forever be a memory of problem solving and teamwork.
Thank you to Logan for inspiring and inviting so many wonderful people to make this project possible. It goes without saying but @da_logster is one of the most welcoming people I have ever been honored to know.
From @hownot_2
Fun facts about the rig:
*20 people from 3 countries
*10km of rope: tag lines used to hold up or pull over the webbing or rigged at anchors
*8.5km of webbing: main + backup + a little extra
*resting tension was 8-9kN, even with 5-10mph winds
*peak force with someone on the line 12kN
*100m-120m of sag with someone on it
*~3.5 safety ratio on the webbing

Enjoy this full walk of a short 30m line at the fruit bowl
Along with the rope swing occurring below me :)
Webbing:
Main - edge from @spiderslacklines
Backup - plasma (crazy heavy but felt good) from @spiderslackus
I was a huge fan of how soft the webbing was under foot
Thank you @spiderslackus for sending this webbing to me a while back! I’m so stoked to have gotten to finally rig it in an epic spot! I ended up walking just over 950m over the two days it was up which get really nice.
This felt like progress.
Have a great day!
Enjoying the backyard line before work
Just wanted to find some fun angles and make a few visually interesting shots

We were blessed to spend some time with @danicascales this week as he visits for the @communityhighlines film tour.
The connections that this sport creates is unbelievable. We share a common passion & that invites community.
I hope as this sport grows, it becomes known for the wonderful humans who participate in it. We have an opportunity to keep pushing for shared experiences that are welcoming and full of genuine care for one another.
Dani is a great example of a kind soul - bringing with him not just a passion for film making but also a joyful heart who clearly wants to make others feel known - he offered to make us dinner too! (Which was delicious btw)
All that said - let’s keep up the good work & keep doing what we love - together

A ~70m line off of the Cathedral Spires we established yesterday.
A perfect day of climbing, rigging, and walking. You couldn’t have asked for better.
Thanks @da_logster and @proffventure for the leg work to find this spot. It made throwing a line up silky smooth.
