HAWAII SLACK NAC 🤙🏽
Talk about a time in the rainforest, wow. I had learned and heard (very little) about Slack NAC when I first started highlining many years ago. And it wasn’t until this year that I was able to jump the pond for a whole month.
This is one of the most unique gatherings I’ve been to. I really appreciated the philosophy and values the organizers put into this. The food was on point, the teamwork was on point, the lush locations were on point, and the crew was sick. Good fucking times on the island.
It was my first time on the islands so Jayna and I bounced around to three islands before we landed on the Big Island for the gathering. I only spent the last week at the gathering so shoutout to all the peeps I missed seeing and photographing.

First weekend of the new year, the Big Island crew raged and set up this behemoth of a line. At 420m, it is the longest line on the island. I had the pleasure of walking it a few times and came short of a send when I fell a couple dozen meters out. What a special moment cemented in time. Here is some drone footage from @kanoawithington of Jake and I Walking On. Jake is dressed like Emperor Palpatine (for reference). Feeling so grateful for this crew, island, and an electric start to the year. Cheers!
Blissful mornings in the backyard… after the river went up about 6 feet last night, I couldn’t pass up the chance to take my @kokopelli rodeo out for a quick rip. Feeling #blessed to get good paddling flows out of season and to have such an amazing run right next to the house. Doesn’t get better than this! Now back to the river for another lap… @jeramayan picked the perfect day to crash at the house, we cruised a lap at a slightly higher level right before this video, then he was nice enough to get some drone footage of me running another lap. Thankful for all things today :)
