We are thrilled to announce our third speaker for Sydney Process 003 🔥 Designer & Art Director Sai Karlen @s_n_k_ Sai Karlen is a Sydney-based designer and Art Director specialising in motion design, visual systems, and large-scale media. With 15 years experience, his work sits at the intersection of art, design, and technology. 

Working with artists, studios and multidisciplinary teams nationally, he combines strong conceptual thinking with precise execution. Karlen’s work is technically rigorous and culturally engaging. His practice focuses on creating experiences that enhance place, advocate for cultural narratives and communicate complex ideas.

Often collaborating with artists to interpret personal visions into outcomes that engage both visual and sonic spaces. Karlen has contributed to projects presented at the Tate (London), Institute of Modern Art (Brisbane), Nuit Blanche (Toronto), Museum of Old and New Art (MONA) in Tasmania, and as part of RISING (Melbourne) and the Asia Pacific Architecture Festival. He has extensive experience working with First Nations artists across Australia, to translate intimate cultural narratives to a range of digital media. Super excited to announce our second speaker for Sydney Process 003. Melissa Yee - Creative director at @popology_agency Mel is an experiential Creative Director known for translating brand thinking into immersive, real-world experiences. After 15 years in London working as a branding designer across lifestyle, fashion and hospitality, she built her craft at studios including Ragged Edge, Made Thought and Here, as well as in-house at Selfridges and ASOS. This foundation shaped a holistic approach to how people move through, feel and remember a space - making her transition into experiential design at Popology a natural evolution. Since joining in 2023, Mel has led and won major pitches for Netflix, Amazon, L’Oréal and Dua Lipa, creating immersive worlds where brands and audiences can connect meaningfully. We are thrilled to announce our first speaker for Process Sydney 003! Sydney Design Legend Christopher Doyle. Creative Director and founder of @cd_and_co Christopher Doyle is an internationally recognised and awarded Creative Director with over 22 years of experience. He has worked at leading Australian brand and design agencies. His work has been used globally for educational material and in feature articles for Creative Review, and Grafik Magazine. In 2009 Doyle was named one of Indesign’s Top Ten Faces & Forces of Design. In 2011 his work was selected to be part of Graphic Design: Now in Production, an exhibition by the Walker Art Center and the Cooper Hewitt, Smithsonian Design Museum in New York City. In 2012 he founded Christopher Doyle & Co. He has given talks for Brand New, Creative Mornings, Semi-Permanent, and the Australian Graphic Design Association. He has lectured at colleges and universities throughout Australia and made written contributions to Desktop Magazine, Australian Creative and Process Journal. He has also served as a judge at D&AD, AGDA and AWARD. Chris has been at the top of our list since we started Process Sydney so we are thrilled to have him as a speaker!
