Come be seduced by the sensual voices of our community, sharing their spiciest tales. This performance night features stories, re-enactment, and interpretation to make the imagination run wild. Performers will be sharing a mix of original pieces and favourite works of literature. Don’t expect a straight poetry reading though! Some performances will be direct storytelling, while others will feature various performance elements, from dance to k!nky play that explores the spectrum of the er0tic and k!nky experience. Sit back, relax, and allow yourself to be transported to lush worlds of pain and pleasure! For those who have yet to see the space, this is a great opportunity to take a peek, while getting the chance to meet with members of the Probe community. This session is designed for curious beginners and experienced players alike who want to deepen their understanding of foot-focused impact and sensation play in a safer, consensual, and controlled environment. For anyone curious and ready to explore the many-faceted world of rope b0ndage. Join us on Wednesday, May 27th from 6:30PM-9:30PM for a crash course with @kosmick.kvlt (they/them) and @stillstarling (she/her) in everything you need to start having fun, fulfilling, and safe rope scenes, no previous experience required. This two-part class will begin with a discussion session delving into what rope b0ndage is and what it can be for you, and the basics of rope safety, risk awareness, communication, and consent. Afterwards we will jump right into the fun stuff; play with practical exercises that get the creative juices flowing while drilling rope handling and body manipulation skills that will enhance rope play at any level. Tying partners are not required, however unpartnered participants are encouraged to pair up if they are comfortable to get the most out of this class. Self tying is also supported. Tickets are sold per person. We aim to give opportunities to everyone to have access to their community despite financial barriers and we recognize not everyone has the means to purchase a full price ticket for all events. Choose the ticket price that suits your preference! All tickets are for the entry to an event and you get no more or less for the price you choose. We are THRILLED to host this very special guest for our upcoming DeepRave event — @davide.cdb from Montreal! 👏 Davide LaPara, aka DJ Davidé, has been a DJ and event organizer in Montreal since 1995. After attending his first rave he knew DJing and making electronic music was what he wanted to do. He began DJing in College and at underground parties. He quickly moved into organizing and hosting events to express his desire to share unique experiences, create original atmospheres, and to convey his passion for music. In 2006, after more than a decade of DJing and working in the nightlife industry, he launched Cirque De Boudoir with his partner Cora Attwood, aka Bunnyguts. Inspired by the major fet!sh events taking place in Europe and the UK, they wanted to create their own version of a fet!sh party, featuring renowned DJs, circus and burlesque performances, diverse themes, and unique atmospheres. Their goal was to create a special space where everyone is a participant, exploring and expressing their s3xuality via costuming, themes and k!nk. Twenty years later, they are still organizing Cirque De Boudoir events approximately every two months, as well as other events like DEBASEMENT; a more intimate, semi-private, fet!sh play & dance party. Davidé is also the co-owner of Cabaret Berlin, a gothic, alternative, and LGBTQ+ club located in the Montreal Village. Get ready for Foundations Module II created by @kosmick.kvlt (they/them) - Single Columns, Double Columns & Quick Releases, Oh My! The foundation of the foundations, the single and double column tie. In this class we will take a deep dive into directional and non-directional knots, focusing on the square knot, wicked fast bowline and quick release square knot and their applications in rope b0ndage to close both single and double column ties. The class block will be dedicated to practicing the movements to make these knots second nature, while providing practical examples on why one might choose one knot over the other for different tying scenarios. Solo or partnered participants are welcomed, however this class will focus on techniques of tying primarily. Join us for light conversation, bring your scent-free arts and crafts, or enjoy board and card games with us during this chill evening! Why Soft and Low? Social Nights can be so much fun and a great way to get to know the community! However, for those with sensory processing issues and multiple chemical sensitivities, they can become overwhelming and unmanageable due to lighting, noise and loud talking, and wafts of perfume. Soft and Low events strive to create a pleasant, quieter atmosphere with dimmed lighting for those who require a less overstimulating environment. We request that attendees refrain from using scented body and hair products such as perfumes, sprays, colognes, fragranced shampoos/conditioners, scented lotions, strong deodorants, hairsprays, etc. the day of or during the event. Please ensure any craft items brought into the space are non-toxic, easy to clean up, and don’t produce fumes or odors (i.e. no glues, markers, glitter, varnishes, or paints except watercolours). Those wearing fragranced products will kindly be offered the opportunity to return at another time, thus ensuring a scent-free environment for all participants with sensitivities or allergies.
