Now that the dust has settled, and on a day of gratitude I wanted to talk about PRISMA
@prisma_works . This has been a project that I feel more proud of, more complete with, than anything else I have done in my career. It was a revelatory experience to be able to make something so special and so complete with so many wonderful artists. I cannot express enough gratitude to all the individuals who trusted me enough to come along for this ride. While I may have put the pieces together and orchestrated the moves, by the time we got to the shows I marveled at this thing that in the most beautiful way didn’t feel like “mine”. It was ours, the artists, the audiences, the collaborators. I started crying halfway through the last show and couldn’t stop because I kept marveling at the beauty that was coming into the world. That took each and every person putting a piece of themselves into the ideas and the moments.
