Meg Fatharly is an artist known for her hand-embossed tin artworks that capture the thoughts we don’t always say out loud. Through growing her own personal global audience she has captured the attention of renowned brands such as V&A and Fortnum and Masons.
The talk will include Meg’s journey as a printmaker and illustrator, touching on her growth as an artist on and off social media and how her analogue world has often overlapped and intertwined with her digital presence.

My poem was selected for the Launceston Poetry Festival @causleytrust this weekend.
I wasn’t there to read it. But it was still there.
I wrote this for my grandma, Daphne Fatharly,
and read it at her celebration of life last year.
It was one of the hardest and most meaningful things I’ve written.
They will always be daffy-dils to me.

This is my application to be an artist you come back to in 2026. 2025 asked more of me than I had room for.
Grief, overwhelm, and a lot of pushing through when I should have paused.
I don’t want 2026 to be louder or faster.
I want it steadier and more emotionally sustainable.
It’s April now, and I’m still holding onto that.
This space is where I share the work as it’s made,
the thoughts that sit underneath it,
and the small reminders I wish I’d had sooner.
If you’re tired, rebuilding, sensitive,
or just here to look slowly,
you’re welcome to stay.
The day you plant the seed is not the day you eat the fruit 🍊
We love this artwork by our next speaker @printcessmeg whose online talk on Tuesday 19th will be all about planting that seed.
