Lorna Nickson Brown’s award-winning short film, DOG RUN, is now streaming on Apple TV!

DOG RUN tells the story of a homeless migrant caught in the grip of modern slavery.
Salvation comes through his growing connection with another captive being - the guard dog at the site where he is held.
It’s a hard hitting yet tender film which explores the symbiosis between humankind, animal species, and the shared natural environment.
A must-watch for all who have ever cared for an animal and appreciated the beauty of nature.

30 years ago today, March 26th 1988, I sadly lost my mum to lupus. She was 37 years old.
For the 8 years she was in my life I was fortunate to have the love of an incredible mother. She was adored by everyone, especially for her musical talents and beautiful singing voice.
She sang with numerous bands, including an Irish folk group called Inchiquin. On the day of her funeral a cassette tape was given to some of those in attendance.
Here is a short excerpt from one of the treasured songs from that tape, originally recorded in 1977.
