I’m dreaming of a world where affordable childcare, paid maternal leave and universal healthcare are not policy notes but reality.
More than ever, I’m so grateful for the science and reproductive freedom that afforded me the choice of motherhood, as it should always be.
I’m always mindful of those for whom today is not a celebration. My heart hurts with women separated from their children, especially by borders and brutal governments- I remain fixated on the women unjustly detained at Dilley detention center, away from their families.
And I’m wishing peace and grace for those estranged from their mother, mourning her, or dreaming still of motherhood.💕
