It was the perfect day for brunch, so we went to @oeb_breakfast ☀️🍳🥞 The atmosphere was bright and vibrant the second we walked in; such a good start. There was so much to choose from on the menu, but we ended up getting the Threesome (eggs, maple pork, sausage, and brioche French toast) and the El Camino Breakfast Poutine with cheese, carnitas, beans, and all the fun add-ons. Both dishes were packed with bold, vibrant flavours without being overpowering. What I really loved was how much each plate had to offer. There were so many different elements, but everything worked together so well that you didn’t feel like you were missing out on anything. Every bite felt full and intentional. Honestly, you can’t really go wrong with anything on the menu. I’ll definitely be back for brunch here! I love a good tea + yap session 😌🫖 @ichateaca ‘s seasonal specials set the mood perfectly. Their new spring collection is inspired by renewal, gentle sweetness, and the quiet awakening of the season. I went for the Banana Hojicha Latte with cheese foam… and wow. Toasty hojicha, mellow banana, and a creamy cloud on top… perfectly balanced, not too sweet, just right. Also on the menu: Strawberry Mango Matcha Latte, Jasmine Matcha Cloud with Honey, and Butter Pu Erh Milk Tea Which one are you trying first? I recently visited @centraltaps in Ossington and really enjoyed the experience. From drinks to bowls and fusion bites, the menu offers a little bit of everything. Think elevated comfort food with global influences; shareable plates, sushi, tacos, and hearty bowls, making it an easy spot to find something for every craving. And the drinks? A whole experience on their own. There’s such a wide variety that you could honestly come just for that. Fun, creative cocktails, plus all the classic wine and beer options if that’s more your vibe. I went with a group of friends and the energy was perfect. One of those spots where you lose track of time just catching up over good food, good drinks, and even better conversation. All the matcha I’ve tried this month !! To know me is to know I’m a little too obsessed with matcha… it’s basically my personality in a drink 🤭🍵 What I love about it is how versatile it is; one base, endless moods. If you love perfectly grilled foods, @mythtoronto absolutely delivers. From drinks to starters to mains, the variety is incredible and every dish hits with authentic Greek flavour! The dim, cozy lighting and warm ambiance made it feel like a true Greek experience, and the live dancers took the evening up a notch, culminating in a fire ritual where we burned notes of things we wanted to leave in the past. So much fun whether it’s a girls’ night out or a date night! Chef Nikitas Pyrgis says he wants guests to “feel like they’ve stepped into my mother’s kitchen - warm, welcoming, and filled with the comforting flavours of Greece”., and I can honestly say they nailed it. Tried @pgclucks for the first time and yeah… I get it! Went in hungry, walked out very satisfied. The fries were hot and crispy, the sandwiches were stacked properly, and they were very generous with the jalapeños (spice lovers, you’ll appreciate that one 🌶️).
