[ 水 ] As one life awakens, another falls into endless slumber. In the aftermath of a violent birth, she mourns her dying kin and ponders the idea of becoming a mother.

Fams 💟 Last Friday, I premiered my thesis @diana.shortfilm at VC Film Fest (Los Angeles Asian Pacific Film Festival). Y'all know much it takes to make a film (crying inside). I'm extremely proud of the work by my team. I appreciate your trust and patience 🫶 It means everything to me and this project. It's been a roller coaster finishing and showing this film. I want to shout out to my partner @ninaspheres 🖤 for your unconditional support, love, and amazing work you've put into this film. It felt great to hold your hands in the theater when the light went down 💞 Programmer @emilykhoang asked a question that stayed with me. The question was "How have you grown from making the film?" For me, it was a cycle of getting lost and finding myself again, as a human being and an artist...Searching, searching, searching... #VC Film Fest

Some roughly graded & ungraded stills from "Little Arabia, Next Exit", a UCLA thesis EP & written-directed by @el_majusi It was a blast for me to work on this film as the cinematographer!
