What an awesome 31st birthday! I ended the year skiing for the second time ever, and it was way more fun than the first time back in 2020, when I faceplanted nonstop ⛷️😵 Looking back on 30, it was a big year. I gaffed three feature films, continued building Ryho Rentals, “officially” proposed to Renee in Venice, and became a homeowner. But the most meaningful change was rebuilding my relationship with my body. Two months into my 30’s, I hurt my back while moving a fridge up and down some stairs. Lower back pain wasn’t new to me, but it usually healed quickly. This time, weeks turned into months with little improvement, even with constant stretching. I’ve managed to avoid working out for most of my adult life. Throughout my 20s, I shamefully convinced myself that I didn’t need to exercise. I thought going on set doing G&E would be enough. Turning 30 and being immobilized after the fridge incident made it clear to me that those excuses had finally caught up to me. My physical therapist friend, Dr. Megan Lee, explained that I lacked the strength in my legs and core to handle the load, so my back took the hit. After beginning with her exercise recommendations and my own back pain rabbit hole research, I committed to changing my lifestyle and building strength not just to heal the pain, but to prevent it in the future. Ten months of somewhat consistent workouts later, my back pain is pretty much gone. That still feels wild to say. Earlier this year, it felt like something I’d have to live with forever. Thanks to Megan, I changed my habits and built a lifestyle I’m genuinely proud of, and one that I can enjoy with friends and family. Even Renee weight trains with me now! Here’s to staying strong as we age 💪🎂

It’s been 5 years since I’ve last photographed behind the scenes of a music video, and I’m excited to share with you guys the stills I captured of KNY’s “Fears N’ Desires” Music Video Teaser over two days. I arrived at the shoot Saturday morning to snap some behind-the-scenes photos for my buddies Josiah, Ryan, and Jeff who are part of the @doyuprod team at an Airbnb in Hollywood. Then we made our way to Elysian Park to get some cool car scenes. Day 2 consisted of mostly shooting scenes around the Arts District and the warehouse studio. Working with friends on cool projects like this makes the whole experience more fun and enjoyable. Big thanks to them for letting me tag along! The EP explores themes of Money, Women, and Business, reflecting American pop culture—the culture Kenny grew up with for most of his life. 🚨 INTRODUCING: THE LEAN BEAN!!! This might look silly (and it is) — but it took almost a year to make, and I couldn’t be more proud of the team! We started pre-pro last summer (2024) and shot it in October. It was a full-on team effort: remote producing/editing with QB @qb_or_not_qb , wild vision-crafting with Gigi @gigi_grillcheese , and shot-spitballing with Pedro @gpedro153 . Everyone brought a piece of themselves to the story — and it shows. Y’all have never seen a G&E van package like this before 😎 Major shoutout to Gigi for directing the heck out of this and pushing me way outside my comfort zone. As a behind-the-camera guy, I’m beyond grateful for your vision and passion for infomercials as a medium. Couldn’t have asked for a better director 🙌 And the cast!!!
