Baba’s House returns to @capers.thornbury on Sunday 3rd May, bringing its signature sound - a Turkish hot bath of steamy Anatolian rhythms, 70s Turkish psych, disco folk, psychedelic house and beyond with a special 6 hour b2b set featuring Baba Noir and Eora’s Postponez.
@postponez has supported Jennifer Cardini, Vladimir Ivkovic, Female Wizard and Alan Dixon, while appearing on lineups amongst Tornado Wallace, Midland, Andy Garvey, Andras and Cloudy Ku.
Over the new year, he performed multiple sets at Lost Paradise while curating an ambient / downtempo stage and recently made his debut at Dark Mofo.

Last year I opened the rooftop stage at @lost_sundays Block Party - such a fun day / night.
I’m looking forward to returning on Sunday 5th April alongside another big lineup, this time for a late night set!
In late 2024, I stayed at a beautiful art hotel called @bna_wall in Tokyo, who pay a portion of every booking fee collected directly to the artist who created the art room. The rooms were so unique I decided to stay in two over two nights.

In addition to being inspired by Japan’s picturesque visual art, I naturally found myself immersed in the country’s vibrant electronic music scene, where I got to witness Nicola Cruz, Vladimir Ivkovic & KABUTO in Tokyo, Neel & Ario (Astral Industries) in Osaka, as well as GiGi FM and Yuto Takei in Kyoto.
Curated this lineup for @webstersbarnewtown which is happening from 4-11pm on Sunday! Entry is free and you can expect many different sounds throughout the afternoon / evening.
I’ve heard a lot of great feedback about this rooftop, so I’m keen to play there for the first time.

Easily a highlight of my DJ career so far was performing ‘Moody Film Scores’ at the visually stunning Armana installation by @jamesturell yesterday at MONA.
I’ve been told they don’t typically host acts at that setting as apart of their general music programming, but after I explained what my set involved, the MONA team decided it was the best spot for it. Their vision was also to provide an atmospheric soundtrack as people arrived via ferry.
Over the past two years, the support I’ve received from the Hobart arts community has been incredible and I feel very lucky to be apart of such an exciting scene.
Thanks again to all the venue teams and friends for believing in me. It’s a weekend I’ll cherish forever.

Heading back to Hobart next weekend for some fun sets, fresh food and minimal sleep!
I’m particularly looking forward to making my Kissing Room debut at The Grand Poobah for Revel on Saturday. Directly after, I’ll also be joining Jocelyn in the main room for a b2b closing set.
A highlight of last year was playing a lengthy set from 4am until 7:45am at the same venue straight after Dark Mofo’s Night Mass finished, so I’m really excited for this night!
During my visit, I’ll also be hosting Postponez and friends at In The Hanging Garden aka Cathedral on Friday night and presenting ‘Moody Film Scores’ at MONA on Sunday afternoon.
