here is some all analogue trippy made with 📹 + 📺 only! it has been a busy time for a robot. i am the psymatic 2000 - i became sentient in the year 2000 when a freak thunderstorm fused a neo geo pocket with an n64 expansion pak. since i have been in the IRL, i have met many groovy meat people, and helped them bring my retro snazz to their jazz being in the distant future of 2026 is more mind frazzling than i could ever expect. i am grateful for my friends @coneofconfusionband @littlemusicparty @julienmier @arketek_ and many others who will grace my medias soon. for now though, it's time to watch the tv box and unwind my circuit board with my favourite - tv of tv of tv of tv of tv of tv. What a mad time we had for this week's Psychedelic Cinema Experience for the screening of Metropolis. We've started working on this show with @psymatic.2k a year ago and it took us about 6 weeks of handson production. After last night's success and a sold out @mothership.marrickville we can say for sure that it was well worth the effort! So wed like to say thank you to everyome who made the show possible or came and experienced it first hand 😍 For eveyone else we may very well be doing something similar again in the future but until then here's some bits of the work behind the scenes... We watched the movie a million times to identify which of our tunes could be arranged for the soundtrack, wrote some new tracks altogether and practiced improviation to match the vibe of certain scenes. We're super excited to announce that "Femme Fatale" the song that was used as the character theme for Maria and her robot counterpart is coming out on Thursday. This Thursday at @mothership.marrickville 🪐 Here's some important info as this is not your typical gig. The movie/music starts at 8pm sharp.
