Been working on something that I can finally announce today. I’m starting a residency series called The Entertainer with Cadence Weapon. I’ll be interviewing @debbyfriday @jacquesgreene @hepostsclouds and @lidopimientart live at @standardtime.to starting on October 3rd. A no-holds-barred conversation about the realities of creativity, I’ll ask each guest about their philosophy for entertaining, what inspires their projects and where they see their medium going in the future. The interviews will be followed by live performances and other surprises. I’ll close every night by DJing back to back with some of Canada’s best party starters including @brendanjcanning , Jeremy Greenspan @junior.boys.music , @jacquesgreene and @automaticamore_music . @polytex.studio Since I was a little kid I’ve been making things. I used to make weird art as a kid, then as a teenager I started making films, personal projects & then videos for bands. That was how I met everyone in BM. Then since we started as a DIY band I started making art and posters and merch designs & basically never stopped. Polytex is something I’ve been working on for the last few months. I needed a space to post my design work that was separate from this one. It’s my hope that it will grow into something more than just design, I hope to use it as a creative space for myself & the artists & designers I collaborate with. Please give this page a follow if you can, design is how I support myself and my family when I’m not on tour. I’ve got some projects coming out in the next few months that I’m super excited about.
