Big news. 🎶 We are proud to announce that Eunike Tanzil becomes Composer-in-Residence of the Colorado Springs Philharmonic, beginning in the 2026-27 season. In this newly envisioned role, Eunike joins the Philharmonic’s artistic community, creating new works for orchestra, collaborating closely with musicians across the season, and engaging with audiences through special projects and educational initiatives throughout the Colorado Springs community. An internationally recognized composer whose work spans concert music, film, and cross-genre collaboration, Eunike brings a distinctive musical voice marked by lyrical storytelling and rich harmonic language. Her artistry, combined with a deep commitment to connecting with audiences, reflects the Philharmonic’s mission to foster creativity, curiosity, and cultural vitality. We are thrilled to welcome Eunike to the Colorado Springs Philharmonic family!

First time I’ve ever seen a table levitate in front of the @royalphilconcertorchestra A huge thank you to the fabulous creative team who made this magic happen: @willbrentoncreator , the most amazing director who got my creative juices flowing! @linneadid , who somehow produced this madness and kept us all in line. Peter Reynolds, my brilliant creative collaborator. @iamcarlysmithson , our amazing vocalist, who rocked the stage. @dannyrobinswithoneb , who I shared the stage with and kept the show constantly exciting! And of course, to my own team, @craigstuartgarfinkle , my husband, and @emmaflynn.14x , our shared brain. Couldn’t do it without you both! This one was extra special for me, seeing @officialchristopheryoung compositions on the set list meant I had to invite him. 🎻 Forgiveness – the new single by Alexandre Desplat featuring Eldbjørg Hemsing – OUT NOW. Recorded at Abbey Road in June 2025. CrossOverBAM — Gamesymphonic with Eímear Noone 05 May 2026 — Konzerthalle Bamberg A powerful and immersive evening in Bamberg. It was a great pleasure to collaborate once again with the Bamberger Symphoniker and Eímear Noone for another edition of CrossOverBAM: Gamesymphonic. This time, I was able to expand my live visual installation beyond the stage into the walls, ceiling and the entire concert hall — transforming the Joseph-Keilberth-Saal into an immersive audiovisual environment. The fusion of symphonic game music and large-scale visual structures created an intense spatial experience where music, light, architecture and audience became deeply interconnected. Music from Halo, World of Warcraft, Fortnite, Civilization, Dragon Age and many more opened vast emotional and cinematic spaces, interpreted through abstract projection structures, moving image layers and evolving light compositions. Working with Eímear Noone continues to be one of the most inspiring artistic collaborations within my practice. After projects in Reykjavík, Dublin, Bergen, Bamberg, San Francisco, Newcastle, Nashville and Catania, returning to Bamberg once again was truly special.
