You don’t often see classical LPs on my shelves, but this album caught my attention and has been spinning on my turntable quite often lately.
I’m talking about an album titled “Chopin Orbit,” recorded by Hayato Sumino. The 30-year-old Japanese pianist presents compositions inspired by Chopin alongside the master’s own works, resulting in an album with a very cool flow—this is the kind of music I like to play in the evening to leave the hustle and bustle of the day behind.
