Getting my friends in the studio, is so much fun because the comfortability is already there and we aren’t having to create it, which makes me feel free to experiment with the lighting more, always a plus

This is a five part series in which I chose to capture artists of vastly different mediums. The tools that one may choose to channel their creativity are endless. I wanted to convey that, no matter what your medium, the beauty that is creating, shines through in the most unique ways by various amazing people

This piece in particular was the first one I shot of the series, so you can imagine the trial and error. But wow, it turned out to be better than I had even imagined in my head.
Even more special, I entered this series for a show and it was apart of @thatphotoschool ’s show “AWAKEN” held at @floccstudio August 2022

Wow guys. Big loss for me. My adventure partner of 14 years has peaced out of this earth time. And I will miss her every day for the rest of my earth time. She was the raddest + coolest + most gentle + paddle border + lake-goer + camping pal a girl could ask for.
When I found out our time together was exceptionally limited, it was of the utmost importance to me, that I capture her in all of her furry beauty. And WOW did I wish I would have taken her portrait WAY before it was one of our last times together. It made me realize how SPECIAL + IMPORTANT it is to have a beautiful photograph of my beautiful friend. It took me a months and months to even be able to write this. But I think I am as ready as I ever wil be.
I would absolutely LOVE to capture a beautiful photograph of your beautiful friend that you can hold dear, long after they’ve gone 🫶 If this sounds like something you’re interested in, let’s talk about it ❣️🐶

This is my friend, Allay Earhart. Allay is fellow creative human, residing from New Orleans. One of his songs is playing now as you read this 💥
I love working with @allayearhart because he gives me full creative control, every single time. I’ll say something like “what do you have in mind?” And he’s like “whatever you think is best!” We usually just mess around in the studio and have some laughs! These are the results of one of those said laughing times ✨
This is me aiming to post more of my work consistently, even if we have to go back to 2022’s work, so be it!🥲
