We have heard the rumours. Sources allege that the last time Play It Again were in Liverpool was for the Eurovision Song Contest in 2023 in which they forsook lounge for EuroPop. This is a falsehood. As you can see, the alleged photo was taken in black and white, clearly signalling that this event took place way in the past.Come and see our triumphant Liverpool return at the @liverpool_improv_festival in two weeks time!

Can a dinosaur appreciate lounge music? You bet jurassican!Our last show of the year is on Wednesday 19th November at Midlands Improv Night in Birmingham! Join us for a final evening of lounge before Emily and Sam enter their 2026th year on this Earth.(And psssst! You can also catch Emily and Sam with the @spontaneous_players on Tuesday 25th November at the Birmingham Glee! Less lounge, still some laughs!)

After an amazing Brighton Fringe, we're bringing our lounge-y language of love all around the UK this autumn!On October 17th we'll be back at our beloved Shoreditch Balls in London, with @thepilotimprov!Then on November 8th we croon our way back to Nottingham for the @nottscomedyfest with @maltcross and @missimp_notts!Finally, we'll serenade the folks of Birmingham at the Midlands Improv Night on the 19th November!Come along, maybe fall in love, maybe become hypnotised forever by the power of lounge...

What beloved family members will we steal this weekend? Come along to the @caxton_arms at 5:30pm this Saturday as part of @brightonfringe to find out!We are performing as part of a historical double bill with the amazing @datenightprov !@comedyatthecaxton @visit.brighton #brighton #brightonlife #brightoncomedy #brightoncomedyfestival #improv* We had, of course, visited prior - but had not returned since Sam accidentally set that seagull on fire in spring 2003 with disastrous consequences.

Looking back on a very fine March Swipe Night, when we accidentally deprived @velourimprov of chairs and they created a magical bus shelter in response, and when @playitagainimprov gave us two shows for the price of one by virtue of having many family members in the audience. Also, we were graced with the photographic skills of the great @improv_pic! As reflected in the first four of these images.We loved it and we’re looking forward to April.
