If you’re looking for a little spark of joy in the middle of your day in Bristol, then this is for you. It’s a drop-in so you can book sessions individually. Whether you’re someone who improv comedy experience or is brand new to improv, you’ll be so welcome.
Kick away the Monday blues and embrace creativity, laughter, and being in the moment.
The taster will be held on October 21st at 1pm-2.30pm and then every Monday in term time from the 4th November onwards.

And amongst a busy schedule of performing and rehearsals, I just wanted to shout out everyone who comes to my drop-in Bristol and Stroud Improv Classes, it's always grounding to return to these after being away.
Had a great time with the Bristol bunch on Monday where we explored group mind vs individuality in improv. And I had so much fun connecting with everyone in my Stroud class yesterday evening. 😊

Massive thank you to Liverpool Improv Festival and special shout out to organisers, Jen Hardy and Mark Smith - what an amazing event you created and curated. I absolutely loved performing and teaching there thanks so much for having me! The atmostphere and line up was brilliant.👏👏👏
Here's a few pics, (more to come) me and Anděl Sudik in The Library of Forgotten Books which we performed to an awesome audience - thanks if that was you, and thanks to Sam who played for us. It was great to catch Play it Again with him and Emily Rose in the second half of the double bill.
There's also my good friend Lloydie who performed in the superb ImprompTwo show Sinners Table (with Jen Hardy, Joe and Kathy Rinaldi and more fantastic folk) and a couple of pics of the beautiful crew from my Mushrooms and Mycelium workshop...
It was wonderful watching other brilliant shows too - v inspirational.

Awesome spending time with my collaborator and friend and source-of-inspiration Andĕl Sudik yesterday, exploring Coventry (why not?) and it's book-related-and-unrelated-but-interesting places in readiness for our show The Library of Forgotten Books which we'll be performing this Friday at the Liverpool Improvisation Festival.
Very excited to be on the performing at LIF26, such a brilliant line up of improv talent!
And very much looking forward to seeing where the audience's offerings take us in our show - you're invited to bring a book you’re ready to part with. These offerings may shape what we do, and could be ceremonially altered in the name of improv. What will be remembered? And what will be forgotten?...
But WE ARE NOT ALONE! We're part of a double bill with the wonderful Play it Again, and stoked to be sharing a stage with these very talented wonders.

Next week are super excited to be doing our first every Pretend Night Jam - a half-way house between our regular Pretend Nights and a classic improv jam.
In the first half, you'll see the brilliant Anděl Sudik and Rebecca Macmillan in their duo The Library of Forgotten Books, along with a set from the Pretend Ensemble.
After the break, you'll get the chance to throw your name in the hat and play scenes in a more theatrical style with challenges thrown in by Pretend Directors Liam and Chris.
All for just a fiver... What's not to love?!
