Happy birthday to me! And in true Plat fashion I present… THE BACHELOR ❤️‍🔥 “Join Plat as he embarks on a new chapter of his life as a bachelor. Fresh off finding success and his own space, he dives into Atlanta’s dating scene—experiencing the highs, the heartbreaks, and the hard truths of modern love as a millennial Black man.” • • ________________ This project has been a long time coming—a true passion project. I’ve been working on it on and off since 2017! It took years of sweat and tears—literally. From getting comfortable with my deep-ass voice to facing all kinds of setbacks, from mental and financial struggles to realizing some people I thought were close weren’t really supportive. I pushed through, scrapping this project three separate times and even giving up on it a few times. I recorded over 70 songs, wrote over 100, re-recorded vocals more than 100 times, rewrote whole verses, made countless tweaks, and listened to this MF every single morning to start my day. This wasn’t something I created to chase fame—this was my creative outlet. For those who don’t know, ‘Plat’ comes from middle school, and ‘Gamma’ comes from college. Music has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember—it was my first love. But my true passion? Telling stories, no matter the medium. With that said, please check it out when you get the chance. This project is my heart and soul mixed down into 14 songs—each one carefully chosen to tell a complete story. Every beat, verse, ad-lib, transition, and skit was intentionally crafted to shape my sound. None of this would be possible without my brother @shegogg —I love you relo! Through everything, you’ve been the one constant, the executive producer who kept me going. You helped me find my voice and my sound. I can’t thank you enough!
