Short Platform returns to @phoenixleic on the 26th February to screen eleven amazing independently made short films. Our tenth featured film is Attack of the Killer Blackcurrants created by @jdellison558 On the strange planet of Suci, a robot named Caseus finds himself in a sticky situation when he’s ambushed by an army of giant, juice-filled blackcurrants. This is Jon’s first 3D animated short film. Production began in 2020 during the COVID lockdown. Originating from a couple of hand-drawn animated shorts and inspired by numerous sci-fi B-Movies, the animation developed into the short film we’ll see this Thursday. Come and celebrate independent film with us at Short Platform, tickets are available via the link in our bio.
