A stunning ceramic planter created by Amelia ✨ She handbuilt the structure and brought it to life with layered tiles, stones, and found objects that were thoughtfully sourced specifically for our client collaboratively with alongside pieces she’s collected over many years.
Amelia described wanting the planter to feel full of movement — like little tides swirling around the surface, carrying the stones and objects with them. I love how the piece balances soft, fluid shapes with such solid materials, and how certain forms seem to push outward from beneath the tile itself.
Her approach to tiling grew from years of collecting stones and found objects and searching for a way to incorporate them into her sculptures. The tiled surface creates a structured backdrop where all of these collected fragments can live together while still flowing organically across the form. It feels earthy, sculptural, and full of story. Swipe for all the little details 🤍 Tree : Ficus Umbellata
