Stone Quarry Art Park wasn’t built to be consumed. It was shaped to be experienced over time — to shift with the seasons, to reveal itself differently with each visit. Sculptures don’t announce themselves; you come upon them. Paths feel found rather than designed. Silence is treated as a design element. Dorothy Reister referred to this approach and perspective as “Art-Thinking” — a way of seeing that values questions over answers, process over product, curiosity over certainty. One arrives with questions and departs with better ones.
