When @typographic_arts asked us to design a poster in honor of the late Herb Temple, we went blank.
An almost entirely blank canvas, “T is for Herb Temple” was a stark reminder of how Temple’s design influence, like that of so many African American designers, is often felt, yet rarely recognized.
Thank you to @designmuseumchi for featuring this piece in the Letters Beyond Form exhibition and, in turn, continuing to honor Temple’s legacy.
