Last year, @pivotal_ventures partnered with @lever4change to launch Action for Women’s Health, a $250 million open call to organizations working to improve women’s mental and physical health around the world.    We just announced the 80+ awardees, and I could not be more excited by the work that they’re doing. At a time when women’s health funding is being slashed globally, the role that these organizations are playing in women’s lives could not be more important. More info at the link in my bio.

As workplaces undergo massive transformation, we have an enormous opportunity to make them better for everyone. It’s time to invest in solutions that support balance, prioritize safety, and elevate women as essential leaders.   That’s why I committed $150 million last year to help dismantle the barriers that hold women back at work. Today, as a part of that effort, I’m excited to announce the Workplace Innovation Now (WIN) Challenge, a new initiative to find and scale innovative ideas to improve the workplace for all.   Led by Aspen Digital, a program of @aspeninstitute , and in partnership with @pivotal_ventures , @aspenwinchallenge will back solutions that improve workplace culture and practices, leverage the potential of AI, and shape new narratives.   If there’s anything I’ve learned in my career, it’s that when we remove barriers for women, we unlock better outcomes for everyone. Learn more and register to apply by December 11 at the link in my bio.

Women’s health is chronically underfunded and chronically under-researched—and, as a result, women everywhere in the world are suffering.   Last week, @pivotal_ventures and @wellcomeleap announced a joint commitment of $100 million toward accelerating breakthroughs in women’s health.   With Wellcome Leap’s proven model, we expect to see outcomes like new tools, diagnostics, and treatments years—even decades—sooner than we would through other approaches.   Learn more about this work to benefit women everywhere at Wellcome Leap’s website, linked in my bio.

It can be tempting to blame technology for the challenges young people are facing, but experts say that doing so prevents us from understanding what’s really happening in teens’ lives. We sat down with our partners Dr. Emily Weinstein of Harvard’s @centerfordigitalthriving and @katya_hancock of @youngfuturesorg to understand how teens’ offline experiences shape their online lives, why adults should “start with the teen and not the tech,” and what solutions can truly make a difference for young people's well-being. Check out the full conversation at the link in our bio.

A more inclusive future for entrepreneurship starts with rethinking what founders really need to thrive: not just capital, but connection, visibility, trusted support and policies that make growth more possible. In our SXSW stage conversation moderated by Foundation President @tdufu , @nasdaq ’s Jailan Griffiths, @precursorvc ’s Charles Hudson and @pivotaldotcom ’s Haven Ley emphasized the importance of stronger ecosystems around women entrepreneurs. They highlighted peer support and early belief, local community investment, institutional backing and policies like affordable childcare and elder care as key elements of what make entrepreneurship possible and sustainable Because when entrepreneurship is more accessible, more people can build businesses that strengthen communities and create lasting economic impact for all of us. Thank you to our partners at @nasdaq , @precursorvc and @pivotaldotcom for joining us. Watch the full conversation from the link in our bio. #SXSW #SXSW2026

How do you create a workplace where everyone thrives? Check out this video with Iris Bohnet, a behavioral economist and Harvard professor who has spent her career studying this very question—and who has some fascinating insights on what works (and what doesn’t) when it comes to building better workplaces. Now, as a WIN Council member, she’s bringing her expertise to the @aspenwinchallenge , a Pivotal-backed initiative led by Aspen Digital that will fund solutions to help women—and all people—thrive in a rapidly changing workforce. Learn more about it and meet the rest of the WIN Council at the link in our bio.

Financial security can be the difference between being trapped by violence and breaking free from it. More than a billion people live with mental health challenges, yet many can’t access the care they need. When it is available, it’s often rooted in control instead of compassion. In @devex_com , @hauwa_ojeifo , a Nigerian-based mental health activist and the founder of @shewriteswoman , outlines four ways governments can put dignity at the center of mental health care. Check it out at the link in our bio.
