Dr. Debra Slone (Co-Founder and Chief Knowledge Officer) holds a PhD in Library and Information Science and spent 20 years as a librarian and professor.
Sonja and Debra founded Courtroom5 after both experienced the frustration of navigating civil court without representation. Watching others struggle in the same courtrooms, they realized their combined expertise in AI, research, and information systems could help level the playing field. "You shouldn't need a PhD to represent yourself in court," Sonja says.
