Yesterday at the finish line of the @maratonvalencia I caught a true legend with a pineapple on his head.
This is Moshe Lederfien, the famous @pineapple.marathon.runner
He finished the marathon in 4:42:35 chip time, averaging 6:42 per km, 26th in his age group and 27,726th overall.
He has been running races for years with a real pineapple balanced on his head, saying his mission is simple. To remind us that running is not only about suffering and seconds, but also about joy, play and the smiles of people along the course.
I filmed him at the finish while everyone around pulled out their phones and started smiling.
This is exactly the kind of character that makes me love marathons
