@sabastiansawe is returning to Berlin! 🏆✨
After his triumph in London and that historic sub-2 performance, he arrives at the world’s fastest course⏱️🏃♂️💨
In his own words:
“Many people may be wondering what my goals are this time round. After coming off my win in London and sub-2 performance, I can only say that, like always, I plan to prepare myself to the best of my ability and to come to Berlin to honor this great event and organization which have invited me, and to run as well and fast as possible. Then on the day we will see what will happen.”
The stage is set. History is waiting. 🙌
Small cup, big impact! 🌍
We’re closing the loop to reduce the environmental impact of our races.
♻️ Recycled & recyclable: Every cup we provide is made from recycled materials and suitable for further recycling.
🤝 The cycle: We collect all cups at every aid station with our partner Remondis to ensure they get recycled again.
Here is how you can help:
🙌 Support our crew: Please use the bins! It makes the world of difference for our volunteers.
💦 Go reusable: Bring your own hydration system and get a refill at our dedicated stations throughout the course.
Huge congrats to @sabastiansawe for shattering the world record @londonmarathon and finally breaking the SUB-TWO barrier! 🤯⏱️ Welcome to a new era for marathon running 💥
