This is from the last show we played in Seattle, which happened to be our first time there. I got a Seahawks shirt right before we played from a shop around the corner. Reminded me of my Dad (who played football) telling me shortly before he died, that I should try and sing my poems. These things do come together and do reveal a path. Thank You all.

Though he’s a relative newcomer, LA-based Pilo is already light-years ahead of the game; from releasing his debut album on Boysnoize Records in Fall of 2024 and having one of his tracks remixed by the incomparable Moby, to Trent Reznor doing a cover of one of his tunes on the NIN’s Summer Tour, Pilo’s talent and impressive connections are impossible to ignore.
His live sets are especially captivating, breathing new life in his own music while sporting a style that’s like the love child of Gesaffelstein, Tiga, and Britney Spears. Currently he has joined the Post-Punk band Donzii on tour supporting ADULT. and will be releasing his biggest projects via Ones and Zeroes, as well as re-launching his label Motor Reflex.

The second in a series of five track compilations, ONES and ZEROS EP ONE proves Boys Noize’s new label is doing its job as wayfinder through the global underground. Once again, diverse styles of techno are represented from multiple continents—Russia’s Ilya Gadaev, London-based Latvian Anna Lann, Berlin-via-South-Korea’s Messiahwaits, and Portugal’s BIIA remixing LA’s Pilo. The EP opens, however, with a bold move—a tech house track from Berliner Taube and Chilean vocalist Malagüera. The diversity of styles here suggests a wide open landscape for the sound of the coming season, but as always, the only way to go is forward.
Honored to be part of Danny Daze’s massive remix album ::BLUE::🔵, closing out the series with my Gigolo-inspired remix on the ‘Earth’ EP. I scrapped my original remix just 2 days before the submission deadline and decided to create something a little more sexy & glam. Huge thanks to @dannydaze for letting me be a part of this incredible project with such an insane line up of talent.
