Had a utterly magical time at @tinkertown_museum ! Thank you so much @twgoodman for showing us the home space and sharing the sweet stories of your family and father. What a treasure of a place! This is just a small glimpse into how special this place is (the sign in the second pic I remember the first time I visited and it literally makes me cry). Go to art environments, make art, be loving. Magic is real. Find your people and do things with them…worship nature/the cosmos. Find the helpers, be a helper. 💞
Thank you for the bloopday sweetness, had a delightful time! Kismetedly we were at @rgrsdentontx and it had a bunch of tvs with amazing vhs tapes so my hand and silly analog media fetish was satiated! I played erotic cartoons, Lair of the White Worm, The Cook The Thief His Wife and Her Lover, Meridian and Brazil! Turning around the sun and this country! 37?! I’ve been wandering with @adultperiod and @christophermichaelhefner and I feel as though my chromosomes are being rearranged in such an important and beautiful way. I’m utterly awestruck by their talent, generosity, warmth, humor. Dancing around with new strangers every nite and seeing fellow oddballs be passionate about art, each other and righteous anger in solidarity has been affirming my soul so deeply. They apparently wanted to try and surprise me with a visit to Gary Panter’s house (didn’t work out with logistics) but the thoughtfulness alone and in all their gestures of care and silliness is hard for me to even quantify! 🥹We really have to find and seek our people and our passions and trust that our beacon will help bring that which we yearn for. Bring about the freak you want to see in the world. Love each other. @_donzii and @___the_treasury___ are also total sweeties. May our roads lead us to love as much as possible. I love you.
