Ten years ago I uploaded “The Perfect Girl (Cure Cover)” to soundcloud. Though I didn’t know it at the time, as soon as I clicked that upload button, my life was never the same. Today, I’m proud to announce that for the first time ever, the song will be available as a 12” vinyl record. Included are the original, sped up, and slowed down versions - plus a new remix by dark-wave legend Cameron Findlay, also known as @kontravoid . Pre-order now via mareux.com. Available 10/31.
PS. Nonstop Romance vinyl pre-orders were delayed due to a manufacturing defect that affected the sleeves. The issue has finally been resolved. Those orders now go out next week. Thank you for your patience!
Yesterday I released the video to “Wild At Heart”, off my LA Summer inspired album, Nonstop Romance. The video is directed by the loml, @natalias.dream , a master world builder and creative genius who had a vision to elevate the song and give it the context it needed to come to life. Also instrumental in this process was @slavicsuccubus , who was at my house every day for a month working with Natalia, consolidating their ideas and pulling visual references for every shot. @grim_queefer for putting everything in motion and spending many sleepless nights stitching shots together to get the perfect edit. @nakkkkita for his beautiful compositions and cool temper when things got stressful. Anyway, go watch the video, it’s a labour of love from myself and my best friends.
