By the end of our first four months, our visitor logbook had entries from more than 30 different countries — travelers from all over, many looking for the same thing: a real piece of Korea.

Mihwa
A publishing house that documents the time of streets and people through photography. Based on the work of photographer Kim Donghyun, Mihwa produces photo books that record the city, its streets, and the people who inhabit them.
MUT is a photo book capturing the street fashion of elderly locals encountered in Dongmyo, Seoul. In outfits worn and reconsidered over many years, there is a kind of style that only time can make. Koreans call it MUT!

Piece Layer already has a typeface — the one you see in our logo and display materials.
Now we’re taking it further. In collaboration with type design studio Nutype (@nutype ), we’re working on a new typeface designed for everyday use, built to feel like ours from the ground up.
On April 17, we held our first workshop together, going through the strokes and details that will make it ours.
Targeting a launch on Hangeul Day, October 9.

피스레이어는 과거에 보습학원이었던 공간을 새롭게 다듬어 만든, 한국의 흥과 멋이 있는 물건들을 소개하는 편집샵입니다.
공간에 존재하는 세월의 흔적을 억지로 지우지 않고 간판을 떼 낸 자국, 벗겨진 페인트칠과 같은 풍경과 어울리도록 코리안 레트로를 가미한 옥외 디자인을 만들었습니다.
