POV: it takes a village to run a marathon !!! I may have done some training but it’s the village around me that gets me to the start and finish line. I never dreamt of running one marathon let alone 4 and an ultra!!!? But my queens and kings around me made me believe, supported, listened, pushed and hugged me through 🙌🏼 Forever grateful for every like, comment, words of encouragement, messages and smile 🫶🏽 THANK YOU ☺️ #mummyrunner #londonrunners #runningphysio #runningformentalhealth #marathonlife

Recovery series 🫂 Mobility Session- today we focused on opening up our joints to then allow us to work on lengthening (stretching ) our muscles in the future sessions. From head to toe we went through all the major joints to draw attention to how freely they can move and reflect on any discomfort that may exist. Join me every Wednesday for a new edition of this reset recovery series! This is your SIGN to light a candle, stick on some calm music and enjoy alittle rest. Let me know how you found it , in the comments below. Hey, it’s one week post London Marathon. So it’s been a week since I ran my fourth marathon and it’s been quite a strange week to be honest. I thought I’d be hungry like previously, but actually, I didn’t have much of an appetite this week, but I did get my energy back, funny how the cycle makes you feel different from week to week. Don’t recommend running a marathon on your period! I managed to spend some time being social, grabbing a movie, have some meal and catch up and celebrations with loved ones which has been delightful. I’m not gonna lie but I have really been itching to get back to Running and I did do a few little runs this week part of work mainly, and also a bit of pleasure. So there’s 23 weeks left to I go until Chicago now. This wasn’t an intentional move this was I guess my luck of getting a ballot place for Chicago Marathon for October. So the next few weeks I will focus on my recovery focusing on building strength in and out of the gym And then the plan will be to start a 18 week training plan for my fifth marathon. I found it quite hard to summarise how London 2026 was for me and I feel like there is no rush to reflect and put the Experience in a box Just yet. I will continue to learn and develop from this experience and see how I may like to change things for the next one. It’s been an absolute pleasure to share my medal with all of you who have supported me along this journey. It’s been super Honouring to hear so many of you mention that you’re inspired to try to do a marathon next year too after following my journey I feel totally blessed to be in this position and to showcase my journey and to be here to support each of you in the choices that you decide to make in your fitness journey and well-being Yes recovery isnt glamorous, although I do love a spa day! Little reminder that the recovery is also mental and not just the feeling of physical strength in the legs. Hope you liked my little reel on the track! I love a bit of legally blonde, great reminder anything is possible! Outfit by @wearebam Medal outfit @newbalance finishers tshirt
