24 HOURS TO EXTENDED DEADLINE 🌼PHMUSEUM DAYS 2026 FESTIVAL OPEN CALL Last chance to apply to the PhMuseum Days Festival Open Call, and exhibit your work in Bologna this 1–4 October. Prizes include 4 solo shows supported by a production budget of up to €2,500 + VAT, a €300 artist fee, and travel contribution from €300 to €800 depending on your location. @mpbcom , Europe’s top camera reseller and partner of this fifth edition will identify, in collaboration with PhMuseum, a project for their Special Mention, granting a €1000 voucher to spend on used photo and video gear on mpb.com. Additionally, up to 40 images will give shape to a public installation, while 20 projects will be part of a dedicated screening. If you wish to know more about the festival, you can read the personal perspectives from last year’s solo exhibition recipients: “Showing the work for the first time at PhMuseum was a privilege and it allowed me to fully grasp what I had achieved. There is a real pleasure in seeing your work move beyond the computer and exist in a physical space. It has changed the way I perceive my images, allowing me to create new layers of meaning”, says @beatriz_desouzalima . In the next weeks, former exhibiting artists @pacifico_photo , @taralaureclaire and @ritapuigserra will reunite with Artistic Director @goliverio_ to select the works joining this year’s main program. Thank you again for considering this opportunity. We look forward to another edition bringing together diverse perspectives, collaborative processes, and a fresh collective energy. Apply before tomorrow, 14 May, 11.59pm GMT, at phmuseum.com/d26 Image: @alexvxvxvxvx #phmuseum #phmuseumdays #photobookmania #photographyfestival

An Infrastructure Of Care: Beatriz de Souza Lima On Exhibiting At PhMuseum Days Through a system of wires and electrodes, Trajectories by @beatriz_desouzalima reveals a hybrid ecosystem where alienation and deep connection intertwine. Exhibited in Bologna through the PhMuseum Days 2024 Open Call, the curation of Trajectories brings the two spaces so close that they become inextricable. It is not possible to look at an image of the hospital without seeing the botanical garden at the same time – and the other way around. Structures that merge wooden and metal pieces create a third, hybrid place – one where the feeling of being foreign, never at one’s place, coexists with a positive tension. Here, care is the ultimate end. With the PhMuseum Days 2026 Photography Festival Open Call open for submissions until this Thursday, 14 May, offering more artists the opportunity to exhibit in October, we caught up with Beatriz de Souza Lima to delve into her project and the experience of exhibiting it in a post-industrial space. #phmuseum #phmuseumdays #beatrizdesouzalima
