A night dedicated to the most powerful force of all: Eros. I felt deeply honored and happy to participate last night in the philanthropic Art Event by @creaidgreece , held at the stunning Niarchos Dome. It was inspiring to be among so many talented artists and to see such an incredible turnout of people supporting the cause. I had the privilege of showcasing my work from Delos, a piece from my upcoming book “Light From Light – A Thousand Days in Mykonos.” Seeing my art become part of a much greater cause—supporting those in need—is the most meaningful reward a creator can ask for. A special thank you to @marinavernicos for her incredible vision and for inviting me to be part of this journey. And, of course, a huge thank you to my beloved Dimitris Tsertsidis @dimichka for always being by my side and supporting my art. For those who couldn’t make it last night, the journey continues! Farewell to April...

Exactly one year ago, I was standing at the Tsitsernakaberd Memorial in Yerevan. 🇦🇲 It wasn't just a visit; it was the beginning of a deep, spiritual journey. Through the @culturemoveseurope program, I started an ongoing project entitled "We Are Our Mountains." Today, looking at these images, I realize that a piece of my soul remained there, amidst the eternal flame and the heavy silence of the memorial. I want to express my deepest gratitude to everyone involved in this residency—the people who opened their homes and their hearts to my lens. My brother Vahe always tells me: "Spyros, in the next life, you’ll be Armenian." On days like today, I feel that bond is already eternal. Today, on this 111th anniversary of the Genocide, I stand in solidarity with the Armenian community worldwide and especially with my friends in the Armenian community of Thessaloniki. We honor the past, we witness the present, and we look toward the future. My hope is to return next year to finish what I have started there—to continue documenting the light and the resilience of this land. We will win. The portfolio I submitted is part of Mykonos: Light of Light, a long-term project I’ve been developing over the last 10 years in Mykonos — a body of work exploring freedom, time, and transformation as lived experience.
