In case you missed it, I recently posted my first “concert review” on The Slutlord Supplement - perhaps less of a review than an attempt to convey the sheer magic that was bearing witness to a @phipps.pt performance, the opening act ahead of @ffrith7 ’s first Vancouver gig in over twenty years. It is a rare joy to encounter sensuality and femininity in the world of experimental music and I am here for it, every time.
The post previous is an interview with Welsh guitar legend @gweniferraymond . Inspiration abounds!

What a dream. Five back-to-back sold out unpredictable performances with dear and divine audiences
Feels like corny promoter speak, but that's a true story
One more solo show tonight with Fred in a Pyramid...
Life is a wild thing

Bringing a couple of friends north for a handful of performances in beeeutiful, supernatural BC
It's all coming up pretty quick
Come watch Fred shred, Jon do his wizard thing, and me blush 🍇

A little visit from the shadow of a scrub jay during our extended set Sunday. Endless appreciation for the full house of sweet ones who joined us, and for Caren and Harry, our generous hosts who shared their slice of heaven (as well as this perfect visual document)
For more information about upcoming events see contact link in the bio. It's more likely you'll get updates there than here 🕳️

Just published: an interview with Phipps Pt., the Bay Area duo of Lovage Sharrock and Jon Leidecker (aka Wobbly), whose album ‘Songs We No Longer Sing’ was one of my favorite discoveries of 2025.
I loved hearing from the two of them about intermingling their two very different practices: Lovage is a guitarist and songwriter, Jon is a computer musician. Over a decade-long span, the two moved from a “writer-producer” relationship toward a genuine collaborative process, cemented together by live performance. It’s a really cool story to match an absolutely beautiful record.

tracks from SONGS WE NO LONGER SING out now on SEELAND RECORDS
find the album and whole video in bio 🔗
the lovely @jeanettedel and I collaborated with a @sssofie stop motion in 2023
it bridges three songs from both PHIPPS PT. studio albums (because, why not)
jeanette plays a spell who develops agency. but ofc, with freedom comes choice and a void before creation
from the chaos our spell recognizes her power to contribute to the future, and like both bow and arrow, she pulls herself taut to move 🏹
these days, im taking inspiration from the spell,
you are too.
through this chaos we will build the next world
