Generative AI art test using vqgan-clip ran locally on the pc. Clip is a neural network which finds images based on text description, this is mixed with gan which tries to synthesize these images. In short you put a text description in, pretty pictures come out. I then uprezed and passed this through a depth estimation model on Google collab, finally I pieced it together in houdini. Despite the input images being quite jumpy and from a low quality source it's still fun to see how the depth estimation manages to work fairly well even on something so abstract.
