Happy to present the trailer to “The Lily Too Shall Function”, a film I was working on for the last few months.
It was an absolute dream of mine, made possible by @studioahead and @jones_institute , to collaborate with true artists, observe their process and be inspired by their thoughts… Really hope I was able to translate my feelings and excitement through this film. And I’m so grateful for the trust I was presented with.
“The Lily Too Shall Function” is an exhibition, that features new works of three Northern Californian artists: Nathan Lynch @nathanlynchart (clay), John Gnorski @johngnorski (woodblock, paper), and Jessica Switzer Green @jessicaswitzergreen (wool).
Exhibition opens next week in San Francisco at @jones_institute and the film premieres at @minnesotastreetproject .

In the late 90s and early 2000s in order to discover new music, I used to program my VCR to record MTV’s night time hour of rock and alternative stuff.
I had no idea what was waiting for me in the morning, before I’d go to school.

In the end of 2024 I was asked to join Maryam Tricia Murajda as a cinematographer on her journey to Senegal, where she planned to film the African segment of her documentary short Bamba Fepp.
As the film is almost finished and about to go on its own journey through festivals, I’m happy to finally share a few stills from my favorite shots. Basically the only proof for my mind that it actually happened, as during these overwhelming days it easily feels like it was just a dream…
