It’s been a long time and a ton of amazing projects with awesome people since I’ve refreshed my reel—I’m stoked and proud to share a sort of resume from the past few years. Link’s in my profile, you know what to do!
Too many athletes, directors, producers, brand managers, other media pros, photographers, and FRIENDS to shout them all out here, but you all know who you are: thank you so much for your part in a career doing what I’ve wanted to do since I was a pretty small child. It’s been fucking great and there’s no sign of slowing down.
If you’re in Whistler around Crankworx: let’s go for a ride, eh? I’ve still got some availability this summer and beyond—let’s play cameras!
Couple of choice turns right in town—always wondered if the gullies on the Chief would be skiable if it snowed enough, and this year it finally did!
.
While I was out scouting with a long lens to see how much snow was in the gully, @skiericcarter@gnarlyroot and @christieimages were already 1 step ahead.
.
So the following day, @reubenkrabbe , @nickmcnutt , and I got to ride the North Gully with their beta and rappel anchors already in place! The novelty of the descent might never wear off.
Didn’t see any rainbows, but I’m pretty sure we found the pot of gold! One of those days where everything lined up for a few hours, and we were in the right place at the right time. The sound that snow makes hitting you in the face when it’s this light… unreal day.
@monsroyale on wool duty, especially coming through with a balaclava to keep the airway clear of pow
Bought a bike park pass today, thinking about dusty laps in 20 person trains. There’s still a glimmer of winter on the mountaintops but damn, summer is pretty good too!
Won’t be long now until it’s time to dust off the DH rig, my @konabikes Process X-DH going strong into its 3rd season of reckless abuse.
A couple of my favourite turns from the season so far, with @garrett.knochenmus and Dennis at @hemlockhut . It’s been almost a month since then- can’t believe how spring always just flies right by!
It’s not over yet, but the season is fleeting- go make some turns with your friends, the smiles won’t wear off for a long while.
A little reminder that spring is fleeting, nothing’s for ever. As winter slips away, the little memories you make with your friends between now and then might be the ones you cherish most.
Made from leftover clips shot in the past couple of springs to remind you what it feels like to finally move on from one season to the next, and as a kick in the pants to do fun shit with your friends in the mountains, before the time has passed.
*PS the clips are leftovers from another lil project coming soon.
Wow, home. What a place! Pretty unreal to be able to do this kind of stuff in the back yard. Thanks for the day last week @matthew_tufts@simon.intheclouds
@peterwojnar equipment is usually organized somewhat like the inside of his brain—in a way that makes perfect sense to him, optimized for the task at hand… but is pretty much indecipherable to anyone else.
He’s a filmmaker & media professional working in the backcountry ski and mountain bike worlds, he moonlights as an athlete in each of those sports, and he claims to sleep better in a tent than in his own bed.
Since Woj spends months on the road every year working on projects that each have their own equipment needs, the best strategy for staying organized is to have a sturdy, waterproof black hole that he can fill with whatever and strap onto anything: enter the RUX 70L.
In the past year, he’s used his RUX to keep his boots dry on the back of a snowmobile, as a computer desk inside a tent on a glacier, to keep his food out of the sneaky hands of rodents while camped out on trail building projects, for travel to and from backcountry locations for film shoots, and as a general-purpose “chuck it in the truck” bag for everything else.
To Woj, being organized doesn’t mean colour-coded stuff sacks and nicely laid out gear photos—it means having the stuff he needs, dry and secure, with minimal effort.

One of the highlight best descents ever. Dropping in close to midnight on the longest day of the year, almost 24 hours into a bike ride, following @bradshaw_tom_ and @jacob_tooke at a pace that wouldn’t really seem safe while wide awake, let alone on the verge of asleep at the wheel in “not rain.” And yet, it was probably the most memorable 45 minutes of bike riding of my life to date.
Watch Land of the Midnight rain. I promise it’s mostly not gopro clips and Tom and Jacob are funny, at least sometimes. Link’s in my bio.
‘UNIFIED’ now playing on our YouTube channel.
@sti9us linked up with @hojboss at the legendary Sentry Lodge in BC last December. Testing the first iteration of The Sinister, the boys wasted no time putting the ski through its paces in the same terrain Hoji developed the Renegade, Hoji, and Raven.
A passing of the torch from one generation to the next. Hit the link in our bio to watch 🎥
