Unreal day with the crew linking some prominent components of the Nch’Kay massif. We climbed the NE face of ‘Garibaldi’, rapped off before summiting ‘Dalton Dome’. Next we skied the cheekeye glacier (obvious from downton Squamish) and booted up the mighty west face of ‘Atwell’. With some alpine ice guarding the last few meters and fear of solar warming we transitioned near the top of the Siberian Express and shredded pow. What a day!

Deep Coast mountains appreciation. Spent some time on the Tiedemann glacier in the Waddington Range onsighting some big lines on the south side of the Asperity-Serra group. Lots of problem solving, group decision making, great talks, and games of farkle while waiting out storms with a good group of friends. Though sending an objective/line may give satisfaction in the moment, the process and time spent in the mountains with friends is what makes me truly content. Thanks Mike King at Whitesaddle for the ride!! #beautifulbritishcolumbia #treadlightchargehard #mountainlifer
Putting in the work now for the big lines later. ⛷️🔥 Ski season doesn’t begin on the mountain — it starts in the gym, every fall at Squamish Barbell. That’s where the foundation is built. With the Mountain Training Group, top-tier coaches, and expert practitioners, I put in the work to stay strong, mobile, and ready to send it when winter hits.
Massive shoutout to the Squamish Barbell crew for keeping the energy high and the bar even higher. Training with a committed crew pushes you harder — and that’s the edge that carries through, year after year.
If you’ve got big mountain goals and want to get your body dialed in, reach out. Let’s get after it. 💪🏔️

Always up for a @seatoskygondola day. Thanks to the staff for 10 years of awesome access and tons of good times. Looking forward to lots more time exploring with friends!
Went for a stroll from Blackcomb to Whistler yesterday. Lots of people were out enjoying the nice weather, but the crowds dispersed the further we got into the park. Awesome having light gear to make doing the Spearhead traverse in a day so enjoyable.

Getting into 4lo on the 2 inch deficit today. First time lifting over 400#, after putting 75# on my deadlift in the last 6 months. It’s just a number but this lift felt awesome because of countless hours spent in the gym working on improving my overall strength and balance. Years of skiing, climbing, biking and sitting in school without a proper training plan left me injured and in chronic pain. I could hardly walk downhill a couple of years ago, my back would go into intense spasm regularly and my hips were so tight I could barely bend over. I would get treatments from well meaning physios, chiros, RMTs all with just temp relief and no long term plan. I finally stopped seeking relief and started putting in the hours in the gym. What’s most crazy is I could have subscribed to the ‘Welp I’m getting old and that’s just the way it is’ mentality, but that’s lame! Thankfully because of that I feel significantly better than I did 15 years ago. I am really trying to use my personal experience to guide my Chiro practice. I don’t want to just give temp relief. I want to create long term plans based around people helping themselves. So get moving you got it! Thanks to my training partners Alex and Mike! My physio Emilie, RMTs Maja, Lori and Jane. And of course my coach @jessebifano and the whole @squamishbarbell family.
