POV: Youâre a mountain biker on skis chasing me through sticks and rocks early season on the resort
đĽ: @remymetailler on his @atomicski Bent 110
If you find this entertaining, check out @sage_cattabriga_alosa and his YouTube channel for lots more high-speed alder bashing and tree dangling from earlier this week in Whistler
While lines like this feel pretty far away at the moment with spring in full force, Iâm thankful that @atomicski has me and the team covered all year long with BLISTER+ injury insurance. Having the peace of mind that thereâs a bit of a safety net when Iâm out skiing in different places, or even rock climbing and mountain biking keeps me focused on the gaps in the trees.
While Iâm gladly yet to use it, I know it has come in very useful for those that have had an accident and I think itâs awesome to have coverage for athletes that doesnât have a laundry list of exclusions for all the fun things we like to do outside!
Check out @blisterplus for more info if youâre looking to cover your bases for that next adventure.
Many of us think a lot about our gear, carefully considering what to bring on a trip and what wonât make the cut... well, all that gear has to make it to where youâre going! One item that gets constantly used and abused, while often overlooked is the iconic @thenorthface Base Camp Duffle. Essentially the same as when it was first introduced 40 years ago, it lets me think more about what to bring and never about what to bring it in. Throw it on a horse, leave it in the snow, or bring it to the beach in Mexico⌠I havenât found an environment it wonât keep your things safe and sound.

âSkiing pillows feels like having a temporary magical gravity-control knob.
Hitting drops over and over in soft snowâin what feels like a slowed-down version of realityâis a pretty special place to exist in, even if just for a short while.â

To honor 25 years of Summit Series, weâre looking back at 25 years of athlete expeditions, stories and the gear that shaped their experiences.
These are my new skis. What is most exciting about them is my bindingsâŚ
This is an @atomicski Bent 120 in a 192cm, mounted at +2cm from the factory line. After a bunch of testing, the line has moved back a bit to better reflect where most people like them mounted the most, but since I like to ski backwards on occasion I like to mount mine at +2cm which is about 3.5cm back from the true center.
The big news here is the brand new Shift 16 (!) which has been incredible. Completely redesigned, with a bunch of upgrades to make it a true no-compromise touring binding for heavier skiers or those that are hard on their equipment đââď¸
An all new heel piece that closely resembles a Strive 16 or STH 16, with elasticity in the track for that damp alpine binding feel. A burly walk/ride lever that is bigger and stronger to keep your toe in when you want it to. And of course, a bump up in DIN capability for heavier folks or those that charge hard. I usually have my DIN set to 14, and I at times I was certainly pushing the margins on the Shift2 13, particularly for its spring strength.
Anyways, I love these skis. Just thought Iâd share.
And Japan is awesome, not sure why I havenât skied here before đ
