Oof, it’s taken me a week and I’m still trying to find the words for this one.
Last week I was given the Outstanding Contribution Award at the
@classbarmag Awards (sponsored by
@fordsgin 💚)
A panel of former winners, the wonderful
@mixellany2 ,
@peterdorelli ,
@hannahsharmancox and
@siobhanpayne_ decided that I should be this year’s recipient, and discussed my contribution over the last 20+ years (shhh!) 😬
I’ve been fortunate enough to have had a few different roles over the years, and have always tried to find a way to contribute something impactful, and meaningful. 💜
I suppose the through line, from building brands, health and wellbeing, Æcorn, positive drinking and now the social health work, has always been about hospitality, and the essential role it plays in human connection. Something we need more of, now more than ever. 👯♀️
I’ve been trying to name this for years, but to hear it reflected back from the stage, by this industry, really meant the world. 🌎
