These funds will help support War Child’s decades-long work with children in Gaza and the West Bank who have been affected by years of destruction and state violence. Emergency relief and counselling will help to support children who have lost parents, are traumatised, injured, and fearing for their lives. What a special night. For our very first event, we couldn’t have asked for more. It was a joy to create a space filled with love, kindness, and care and you could truly feel it in the room.

PERIPHERAL PRESENTS ROLAND KNOWLDEN ⛓️
Roland Knowlden (@rolandknow ) is an artist whose practice spans drawing, painting, sculpture, and spatial intervention. Working through the politics and poetics of representation, his pieces are sites of negation - tracing blackness, the unknown, and the imaginary.
Trained in Architecture at the Illinois Institute of Technology, Chicago, and currently completing an MFA in Fine Art at Goldsmiths, University of London, Knowlden has begun to consolidate his presence through exhibitions with House Works in London, and DePaul Art Museum and Boundary Gallery in Chicago.
For PERIPHERAL, he presents an extraordinary sculptural work in collaboration with ekabo donyi, developed through an ongoing artistic dialogue surrounding “in exit cyphers” — a text, or spell, shaped through their shared exchange.

Through his work, Provhat has created opportunities for underrepresented artists while raising significant funds for global charities.
Behind the decks, he channels this pioneering energy, driving the dancefloor with innovative percussive beats. Expect a very special closing set focused on drum-heavy club sounds.

PERIPHERAL PRESENTS KIMIA IPAKCHI 🎞️
Kimia Ipakchi (@k_m___p_kch_ ) is a British-Iranian filmmaker and programmer with an interest in experimental and hybrid filmmaking.
“NORTH OF JUST HERE” is a soundscape of family road trips and a homage to those that are lost. Using a cameraless filmmaking technique, the film acts as a personal archive for the filmmaker and her family in the Iranian diaspora: a blurring of what has happened, what will never happen, and what could have been.
Ipakchi co-runs the film festival Creative Nonfiction Film Weekend, a communal event and programme showcasing intimate documentaries.

PERIPHERAL PRESENTS MAHNOOR 🔊💥
Known for her blend of percussive grooves and dark rhythms, Mahnoor (@140bpmahns ) is a DJ, event curator and cultural tastemaker. Drawing from borderless sounds and beats from her British-Pakistani heritage, her eclectic style is characterised by an energetic mix of UK bass with global influences that move the dancefloor, having played major music institutions and underground hotspots alike.
Her practice is rooted in connecting people sonically whether through her residencies on BBC Asian Network or as a member of the DAYTIMERS collective. This year, she made her debut at Glastonbury as well as curating the full @daytimers_uk takeover stage and playing at Boomtown Fair.
She joins a huge lineup: Seksu, Provhat, Sizer, and Sunayah. Catch them on Thursday 4th December at Venue M.O.T, all profits to @warchilduk ’s work in Palestine.

Sizer (@bigsizer ) is a DJ and producer making a name for himself for his musical innovation. Merging sounds of global music scenes, from dancehall to Palestinian rap, his practice is drawn from his Jordanian heritage and experiences in international hubs like Dubai and London.

PERIPHERAL PRESENTS EKABO DONYI ⚙️
ekabo donyi (@house_of_donyi ) is a multidisciplinary artist and co-founder of Alternasia, The Plant, Social Spider, and MOTH London, where they serve as art director and curator.
Their practice explores diasporic identity through a confrontation with their perceived “otherness”, drawing from postcolonial theory, Indic philosophy, and cybernetics.
For PERIPHERAL, donyi presents a collaborative work with Roland Knowden, developed in dialogue with a poetic text and spell shaped by the artists’ ongoing conversations and shared process.
