10 Years feels equally so long and so short. But it’s always been sweet. David and Steve not Adam and Eve.

Wish I could tell my 12 year old self that he would have a cool, cute, and smart dude one day. 8 years is a lot but truly not enough. Being gay was a great choice!

Emo post, so comb your hair appropriately. I am writing this show about grief. And how it lingers like a disgusting fart. The thing about the c*vid era that shocked and astonished me was how it became a connective sinew for all our griefs - collective, inherited, avoided - and equally made us try to keep our bullshit to ourselves. We ate a big shit sandwich, but we couldn't talk about it, because everyone had one of those sandwiches to eat. Those dark days reminded me of other dark days and it became a human centipede of dark days passing one turd down the line…and that turd I thought I had already dealt with. In that shitty moment in time, that also is not over, made me ponder the question: Is there a drain these griefs go down? Spoiler, there is not. Hi friends! I am back from a vacation where I got disrespectfully tan, and now am in full show mode. Tickets for my show, Looming Dogs, are flying out the door! We start 9/14 at The Brick Theater and would love to see you all there. About the show: Looming Dogs is a pondering of the slippery nature of grief, and explores the funny embedded in our bullshit. Looming Dogs is running in rep with Penguin In Your Ear by @getbentobox You should see both and we gotta little deal going on so you can! Tickets in my bio!

If teenage me knew I’d fall in love with the kindest, coolest, sweetest weirdo I don’t think I’d believe it. Happy Birthday to the person who keeps me anchored to the world. ❤️❤️❤️
