Hey all!
My name is Penelope and I’ve started working as a Physiotherapist at
@ptcphysiotherapy (PTC, which stands for ‘Point to Christ’), Lidcombe.
Things I’m pretty keen on are using exercise and lifestyle changes to steward the body well; to use the body as God intended. I’m super interested in how God has made the body so intricately and intentionally designed, and something that I’m particularly interested in is how we can use movement + natural means to bring healing by His design.
Last year when I was thinking through work in light of what my purpose in life is and my identity, one of the many highlights was reading a book about work ethic by Charles Spurgeon, and then afterwards doing a call with the boss of PTC (
@ptcphysio.pete ) to hear more about what PTC is- during the call, I felt like it really aligned with the value of competence that I was after. From Dec and into this year, I had the privilege of interning with PTC, and I got to see in-person the care & value at PTC (including also by PTC’s 2nd Physio:
@physio.qan !!)- super stoked to be joining the team and working alongside them.
But also, for those who know me ;) you know that Jesus is at the centre of my entire life and everything that I do. He saved my life, on this earth and importantly also in the next. It’s so awesome to work at a clinic where the brand name is so fitting and aligned to my identity in Christ.
There is a lot more that I look forward to sharing with you, but for now, the paragraph above is what I believe matters the most.
☺️🤙🏻
