Sticking with the @radiohead theme for another day. The Oxford Drive and Mini Glitch from @tkogeffects are designed to get you to those early classic Jonny Greenwood Marshall Shredmaster tones and glitchy signal cutouts. Very satisfying to flick the drive on, play the intro to Airbag, and then walk out of the damn room. Also if you’re a Radiohead gear nerd, their blog is an amazing resource you can get lost in.

And on this #teletuesday I fully succumb to my deepest darkest fanboy tendencies and procure for myself an early 90s @fender telecaster plus. An oddly specific model with a particular sticker and a polarizing sound from those distinctive pickups used by a certain guitar player in a well known band that has more or less provided the narrative arc to the soundtrack of my life. It’s a good #teletuesday and I’m already a little worried this won’t be the last telecaster plus in this house.

Put it in front of everything, hit the harmonics switch, or add a little bright and low, and then run it through your board. There is a ton going on under the hood that I’m not qualified to pontificate on, I’ll just say the hype is real, and it works. Head over to their site to fully dig in to the details. @bigearpedals currently in the lead for most fun pedal of the year with the Albie. Just plug it in and go! The ten ambient modulator settings all sound great, and similar, but also different. It’s designed to quickly get you new wave & post punk sounds. Lots of lush reverb and delay action paired with warbling modulation and you can dial it in to perfection with the blend knob. I’ve been hitting hit with an overdrive and going straight in to the amp. Tons of fun to play with, highly recommended. Also, kinda sparkly.
