Serious Post AlertšØ
On Thursday last week, I had the pleasure of moderating a panel session at the MentorMeNG New Voices Bootcamp ā LASU Edition, themed āVolunteerism as a Pathway to Leadership.ā
The conversation was nothing short of amazing, and I was honored to steer the discussion alongside three phenomenal panelists:
š«Maryam Sulaiman @that_muslimah_ceo_author
š« Ajisegiri Sedomo @big_sed22
š« Niniola Abdulazeez @nini.olah
We explored how volunteer work can be a powerful training ground for leadership. The real, lived experiences of these student leaders gave life to the theme.
From storytelling to strategy, every response underscored how leadership isnāt about titles, rather itās about service, initiative, growth and impact.
Thank you to @mentormeng and SOSSA-LASU under the leadership of President @amazi.ssss for creating spaces like this. These conversations matter, and Iām proud to have been a part of it. š

Yapping (sensibly, of course) is one of my favourite things to do.
This job made me listen actively ā to really hear these amazing artists and guide our conversations with intent, exploring the motivations and experiences behind their art.
Usually, I go into a chat informed: Iāve read their work or had a private conversation to gain some insight. But with Route 3, I had to immerse myself fully in their readings and performances from an audienceās point of view , to understand how best to steer the conversation.
I enjoyed every bit of it, to say the least. I look forward to having more experiences like this.
March was a month to remember!
Was on the set of Dividends throughout (thatās why my pictures are mostly selfies)
Went to a couple of raves
Watched the first episode of Dividends with my cast and crew
Good times
Highlights from my time at @plus234art fair ā26. āØ
It was an amazing experience working with the lead team from @sotogallery to coordinate the flow of the fair and help make it a success.
I also got to meet so many brilliant people and artists, especially the ones whose works were featured in my booth. Truly an inspiring week all around.
10/10 experience. šØ

Just a tease of how my weekend was at Route 3 by @athirdspace___
Working with the team behind this experience was amazing! I got the opportunity to moderate chats with writers and artists, meet new people and just enjoy art and creativity.
I live for times like this āØ
Yesterday I got a very last minute opportunity to see the Cavemen and had the pleasure of listening to their soon to be released album (buckle up guys itās coming soon) and I didnāt want to miss it for anything in the world. You see, Iāve been wanting to see @the.cavemen live for the longest time but something always happens, itās either I have something I super important that I canāt miss or I donāt have money to see them (talk about being a LAPO baby š) and so when I got this one opportunity, I had to make it work. I really had fun seeing them and having the opportunity to even hear a couple tracks off their unreleased project (see how fate restored the times I missed), have one on one conversations with both @knoteofficial and @bjaminofficial and just have a cavy timeš“ while enjoying the scenery of @jazzholelagos Sawaaaaa
The past week has been a very busy one. From @psychnovation ās launch to my FYB week activities and Owambe finale. Iām just grateful to be able to live
