This is Harrison wishing a happy New Year from Patter & Hum! Who can say what the new year will bring?
But we can say that this was a year of exploration and growth.
We hosted workshops in spring and had a wonderful variety of next generation audio creators come through and get hands on with sound design, podcasting and music production.
We have to shout out @jump.ent who recorded a dozen dynamite episodes with us and now are approaching (or hit?) *one Million* views of their podcast content on Reels. Rock on, guys!
We upgraded our software and hardware - patchbay! ProTools! Descript!
Mixed, designed, and composed score for our first film. More on that soon!
And last but actually most - @emily_212zone and I had our first kid. She is plotting her next season of Vietnamese and English language podcasts in between both of us plotting to grab a few precious hours of sleep.

We have been enjoying a little time away from social media - but it seems like time for an update! We had a very busy and fruitful spring-into-summer, with podcasters, producers, vocalists and more coming in to record, create, and explore new sounds. We ran a successful five weeks beta program of audio workshops, finding the joy in learning about tech and sharing work together. @leftpop dropped an album and another is in the works. Now looking into our second full year - a lot of exciting work is ahead! We are expanding our podcast offerings to work with brands and non-profits who are looking to raise awareness and make positive impacts. We are developing new technologies for use in cutting-edge interactive music and sound design. And we are still booking for in-person recording sessions. Phew! It's been an absolute pleasure to create with everyone - here's to many more projects!
