🎬 Big News—our new brand video is here!
We premiered it at our Lunar New Year Gala, and now we’re excited to share it with all of you.
Titled “Moving Forward, Together,” the video reflects our mission, our values, and the community that inspires our work every day.
It’s also an invitation to connect (or reconnect!) with CPC—to grow with us, partner with us, advocate with us, volunteer with us, and support our work.
A project of this scale truly takes a village. We extend our deepest gratitude to the talented cast and crew—many from our community—who helped bring this vision to life and capture the spirit of our organization so authentically.

I was fortunate to have worked at @cpc_nyc over 15 years ago as their afterschool program media instructor, where I met Lois, Edgar, and Brian, who have supported my journey as a filmmaker. They entrusted Yixin and me with creating their 60th Anniversary Gala video. While there are varied opinions about the organization, my experience with CPC’s dedicated staff and programs has shown that it is a vital part of the community, with 60 years of service. It is one of the few AAPI nonprofit organizations with a long-standing commitment to the community and people of color, and CPC’s impact is multi-generational. The individuals in the video are real community members, not actors.
The production team and I are grateful for the opportunity to showcase their dedication to the community.

A breast cancer survivor, a resilient immigrant, and a witness survivor. She was a selfless woman from Toisan who did her best to provide for her family and helped raise her grandchildren with unwavering love.
Thank you for the fondest memories, for your strength, your love, and for helping capture the Cantonese American part of me. You were my Interior Chinatown, G ❤️ 嫲嫲

Thanks Chris Kammerud for capturing my good side, and making us artist feel comfortable. Love your work!
Nice start celebrating @asiancinevision 50th anniversary at their 48th annual film festival, the first and oldest AAPI film festival in the States.

Please consider to contribute to this community given the Trump Administration has started canceling National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) grants.
Myself and friends had another great time at this year’s @newyorkasianfilmfestival with so many wide range of excellent films from Asia. Thank you @just_sam_is_fine2.0 and @babysealclubber for inviting me back as a short film juror. Special shoutout to @eileenzzzzzzzz@patricknance888@androw_g10 and the entire NYAFF staff for the warm hospitality and amazing events you’ve hosted.
This year’s Short Film Jury Prize goes to “Good-Mourning” by Nina Tsuji. Honorable mentions: “Sammi, Who Can Detach His Body Parts” and “Finding the Rainbow” if you can discover them, watch them!
