Today feels like the perfect day to update my pinned post and to express my gratitude for another year of growth, creativity, and collaboration.

I’m grateful for your support when times are tough, and for your praise. I’m grateful for travel and seeing new places. My second time filming original choreo 🥹 extremely grateful for these beautiful dancers: Flo, Miranda, and Venise. Thanks for being down to play, letting me set this on you, and being patient while I figured out counts (I may never be a counts girly but I’m living laughing learning). Happy World Circus Day! Circus has given me some incredible experiences in my life and still continues to do so. Whether it’s at a gig in Vegas or in a festival near the ocean, I am thankful for the opportunity to meet other fellow artists using their craft to share a message they care about or bring light to challenging times. To my fellow circus friends, I appreciate you. Keep doing what you do! This year, I rung in World Circus Day in playing with fire at a friend’s birthday celebration, but didn’t get photos. She is 34 and the strongest and most flexible she’s ever been in her whole life.

Our country bombed a girls school full of innocent lives.
Our dictator won’t stop his terrorism until his disgusting law is passed about voting.
He is using the fear of trans people to attack everyone who’s ever changed their name for any reason. The biggest population of that being women who got married.
First off, the trans community is one of the smallest minority groups in our society, and secondly the people afraid of trans people clearly have never had the undoubtable luck it is to meet the whimsical and lovely humans that make up much of the trans population.

This “Save Act” is a direct attack on women by throwing the trans community under the bus.
Then there is the violent attack on women and children in Iran. They are not so separate from us, they are just like us in many ways, they are just farther away geographically.

And finally never stop talking about the children of the Epstein cases. Never forget our dictator rapes kids.
Don’t forget the people condoning this have run the media, have trained and conditioned the masses for decades.

Idealising paedophilic standards like looking young, no body hair, lack of personal agency is something our society has been conditioned to uphold.
I challenge you to unpack this within yourself.
I too feel flattered when someone says I look a decade younger than I am. But being 20 is not sexy when I’m in my mid 30s.

Why does our government hate us so much??
Why is the government so obsessed with our oppression?
Is it because we are poor? Maybe they are jealous because we are prettier than them? Physically more accomplished?
There is zero reason to bomb a school.
There is zero reason to oppress the right to vote.
.
I serve no kings.
I serve the soft animal that is my human body in all her stages and with every year she grows stronger, wiser, and more resilient.
I serve Mother Earth to the best of my minute capabilities.
.
I want this for everyone.
I want you to also grow into your most realised version of yourself too.

We are in this together.
